This site is a small contribution to FinTech education and will hopefully serve as a knowledge center for individuals exploring FinTech and the impact FinTech will have throughout the world and on people's lives.  Whether you're a reader that has no previous knowledge or a seasoned veteran, I hope this forum proves a useful resource for expanding your FinTech knowledge.  

 

James Healy is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for Icahn Automotive Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Icahn Enterprises. James is also an adjunct professor at USC's Marshall School of Business, a board member of Bingeable Network, and a co-owner of the Phoenix Rising Football Club. Prior to Icahn Automotive Group, James was Vice President of Business Development at FastPay, a lending and payments company serving the digital media sector. Before FastPay, James spent five years with GE Capital. During business school, James worked for Goldman Sachs and The Carlyle Group, and he started his career with Ford Motor Company. James is also Chairman of The Healy Foundation, a non-profit which provides scholarships to high-achieving college juniors and seniors which experience unexpected financial hardship.  James earned his MBA from Georgetown University and his Bachelor's degree from Villanova University.

Marc Hamud is a Senior Relationship Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to BAML, Marc held various roles at Wells Fargo including Senior Banker in the Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) Group, Strategy Leader for the Powersport and Outdoor Products Groups, and SVP of the Motorsport group responsible for a nationwide sales team focused on growing its dealer network. 

Spending the majority of his career at General Electric (GE) Marc started off in GE’s Executive Commercial Development Program (ECLP). While on program he held various roles in the Middle Market Lending and Leasing Group, the Sponsor Group, as well as in the Commercial Marketing Center of Excellence. Upon graduating from the program, Marc spent a number of years at GE Antares in various roles responsible for underwriting Middle-Market Private Equity backed transactions and managing a portfolio of clients. 

Marc is a graduate of The United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics and received his Master of Business from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. Prior to joining the private sector, Marc spent a significant amount of time serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force. While in the military, he was a Developmental Engineer and worked on designing the US Military’s next generation of GPS satellites. Marc is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Marshall School teaching a class focused on Fintech.
